How Do I Reset the Epson Color 880 T20 Cartridge?
Each time you print a document with the Epson C880 color cartridge T20 after being filled, an error message comes on the screen warning that the cartridge is almost out of ink. This message is the result of the configuration of chip in the cartridge. The use of a reset device made just for the Epson cartridge, this setting is changed to complete. The message no longer appears and you are free to print using the refilled cartridges without having to click through the message.

Epson chip resetter

1 Place the resetter chip on the table with the grooved side contains the contact pins upward. These pins connect to the cartridge.
2 Insert the cartridge into the device so that the metal tabs to connect the pins. The cartridge should slide easily into the device without interference.
3 Hold the cartridge into the device until you see the light turn green. Some devices may have a flashing red light that indicates when contact is made, then stays on when the chip is reset. Carefully follow the instructions on your device to make sure you are removing the cartridge at the right time.
4 Take the cartridge from the device when you see the sign indicating a complete restoration of the chip. Install the cartridge into the printer and test print to make sure that the message does not show ink level.
